We have seen couples display seating charts that include photos of themselves through the years. Some creative ways that our clients have used escort cards which doubled as guest favors; fun sunglasses, a tiny jar of honey, decorated cookies, special cocktail mixes, or a handwritten note of thanks making guests feel appreciated and connected. The bar is often one of the most social and popular spots at a wedding, so we love when couples have fun with it. It starts by creating a thoughtful bar menu, some couples like to incorporate drinks that reflect their theme or the season.
Some of our couples take the fun even further by turning it into a friendly competition. One of our favorites was an “Old Fashioned” contest featuring two versions of the cocktail, one Wisconsin-style and one Minnesota-style. Guests voted throughout the night, and we are proud to say that Minnesota took the win!

Naming drinks after pets or inside jokes always gets a smile, and custom stir sticks, napkins, or bar signage can elevate the look and tie it perfectly into your overall design.
